Overview:
UB poker is one of the most known US friendly poker rooms with their sister brand: Absolute Poker. UB has blackjack available too, which is a very popular and easy game, and a good start to a casino down the road, which will help with the fish numbers. It is also one of the poker rooms with the highest selection of deposit and banking methods, not entirely for US players, but for all players. You might be aware of some of their pro players too, such as Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke making their appearance in multiple tournaments and events, keeping the brands alive.

Even though currently at number 10 for poker player numbers, UB actually had more within the same network as AP, unfortunately due to some cheating scandals a while back, the companies unfortunately have only made a slow recovery from the bad press – obviously altering their numbers. However, as said before, they do hold the number 10 spot, which shows they are a strong company that will strive again and will continue with great traffic numbers.
Available Games: 7 out of 10
UB, as the strong poker room that it is, has a very good list of available games, such as Holdem, Omaha, Lowball, Stud Poker, HORSE, HOSE, Razz, heads-up, and a few other variations of the just mentioned. This wide selection of games is also a good reason why their players are tougher than standard, since those strong at Holdem usually tend to spread around more and try new poker games, so the more options, the higher the odds of savvier players in the room.
Customer Service: 8 out of 10
Even though their support is only via email, it still has a fast, friendly and competent response, which also takes care of several markets by offering a few different languages.
Software: 8 out of 10
Apart from the cheating scandals, UB has one of the best poker clients in the industry with numerous details that make it a wonderful entertaining software, such as the ease to re-size tables on the spot allow for some great multi-tabling games. They also have such details as the rabbit cam, which allows you to see what the turn and/or river would have been had you not folded – you might find it frustrating, but entertaining and capturing too.
