Offer above is for non-USA players only.
Overview:
Cake Poker started of in 2004, and in such a short time, has grown to be the leader in Rake Back poker sites – or at least the most know for it. It runs a huge poker network, which included 50-60 partners in their network, from poker rooms, to casinos, to sportsbooks – allowing for a nice mixture of players. They also accept US players and worldwide players to register and play.
Traffic: 6 out of 10
With such a huge network, it should be a matter of time before Cake Poker joins the top 10 poker companies with the most player numbers. They currently hold the 19th spot with close to 1500 players in peak hour. This, of course, has been done in a short time, and should be increasing. Their player base however, is mainly made-out of savvy players, rake-back players, who do take advantage of those fish provided by the casino and sport sites in the network.
Available Games: 5 out of 10
Their selection of games falls into Texas Holdem and Omaha, with variations in those two poker game categories. They recently dropped Stud games from their selection, which allows them to concentrate more on building-up the network that brings more recreational players to them, hence the low list of games.
Customer Service: 9 out of 10
Email is the only way to contact Cake at the moment – with a nice touch of having specific email addresses for each department – making it a faster contact process and response rate as well.
Software: 7 out of 10
Cakes software is an aspect where they shine… which makes sense, as it needs to keep their players and their network partners happy. Great multi-tabling features, resizable options, tournament filters, web-based hand history and much more. Definitely a worthy software for a network.
Overall Rating : 6.75 out of 10
