Overview:
Absolute Poker is another greatly known US friendly poker site. They have been around since 1996 making it one of the oldest poker rooms, which merged with UB in the Cereus network in 2008 steadily increasing its traffic numbers. As opposed to UB, they don’t have blackjack available, and their pros are not as known.
Traffic: 6 out of 10
Being part of the Cereus Network, AP falls under one of the top 10 poker sites in terms of player numbers. They have also been known to have a good collection of loose players, which changed minimally with the merge, since AP players would encounter the tougher, savvier players from UB. This makes for a bit of disadvantage to the AP fish, as well as the brand, as their money is being transferred over to UB from their savvy players.
Available Games: 7 out of 10
AP has a good selection of poker games, which is surprising their loose players would be so interested in. They have Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Omaha Hi, 7 Card Stud, Heads-up, and a few more variations, games and tournaments.
Customer Service: 8 out of 10
Like UB, AP offers support only via email; however, it still has a fast, friendly and satisfactory response that is all that matters when dealing with issues.
Software: 8 out of 10
The greatest aspect about Absolute Poker’s software and graphics is its simplicity. It leaves out the software weight, and clutter of images others might have… allowing players to concentrate on their poker game. Some might find it a bit plain, but it serves its purpose well with good multi-tabling options, four-color deck, and rabbit cam like UB.
Overall Rating : 7.25 out of 10
