Default Favorite poker movie?
There are quite a bit of poker movies out there, but what are your favorites?
My favorite would probably be Maverick starring Mel Gibson.

Rounders!

Even if I didn't like poker I'm sure that I would have liked the movie. Great actors and great poker tips along the way.

Also I heard Chris Moneymaker started playing poker after watching this movie!

I recommend it to everyone!

Rounders
Maverick
California Split, an older movie more about gambling, but the beginning scene's dialogue of them playing draw poker are great.

I have also never seen the movie, Rounders. although, another movie I liked was Shade, It was with Sylvestor Stallone. It has some poker in it but its more about the hustlers and cheaters in the poker world. Any one here see it?

I agree with Rounders. Although I've heard of the others being pretty good also.

There was one with a kid and a trainer release a couple years ago in theaters. Not sure what the movie name was.

I like Lucky You with Drew Barrymore and Robert Duvall, Rounders. I think Casino and Cincinnati Kid are very good.

Casino was Good But I like Smoking Aces With Alicia Keys and Common! The Movie came out in the summer of 2007!
