I play online as bigfoot1,mostly onn DD poker for its high level of play and very fun community.I am a tourney player,mostly local stuff.Just wanted to say hi......pat

Welcome to the forum Pat, what is DD Poker? I know there is a DD poker software, but I dont know of the online poker website

Your right,it is software,but the online game portion was a real find for me.Cant say enuf bout it.Only holdem tourneys tho.The games are put up by the players,many of whom play pro,and not a server.We write our own formats and structures,host them as open or invite only,its very cool.Also its a pretty small gang,maybe 400 regulars at most,so you get to know a bunch pretty quick.Most of the pro players copy the format of their upcoming tourneys and work out strategies.The level of play is as high as I've seen anywhere...period.But the chips are free,just bragging rites.A bunch of us run monthly qualifier games with invite finals.Those are super tough to win.Finaly,as a host,you can ban an abusive player from future partisipation,keeps it all pretty friendly....check it out...is a blast...pat

ya,its DD poker...I think you can only download it now from their sight.we were told they arent making physical copies any more...pat

So if I wanted people from PokerEagles to play a private game there, do they all have to buy the software? Or can I just buy it and put it on the website?

I did get a free DD software to review and use.

Honestly I got done with finals yesterday, so i will review the software during the holidays and will bring some private tourneys to PokerEagles in begining of 2008...

Some big changes are coming for PE in the next couple weeks too. Just keep in touch

I play hold em,tourney, exclusivley for now.I set aside 18 months to refine this game,12 months into it now.Late spring I will turn my attention to ring game play,although I will continue trny play.A DD player has invited me to spend a week at his place in vegas in march.He plays the mirage almost daily and is gonna help with some mentoring.I very much look forward to his help as he is a VERY sucessful cash player....cheers...pat
