Ever played in a big tournament?

Has anyone ever played in a very big poker tournament?
A WSOP tourny or something very very big and expensive to get into. I think it would be also an experience.

So has anyone ever been in such a tournament?

I myself have not played in a big tournament but my father has many times, though untelevised they were big. I'm hoping on day to enter a big tournament and of course win it :).

I played a $2,000 invitational last year and got sucked out with AA set on flop - guy hit dueces quads. It was pretty embarassing - I slow played on the turn and pretty much lost myself $100,000.
