I have a question, i start playing for real money on bodog.com a few weeks ago, so im not really agresive when i play, but i always bet hard when i get a good hand, that meaning AA,KK, AK,AQ... you know high hands, but it seen that everytime i do that some other player come and bits me with a poor hand, such a 2,3, on a straight or 8,4, on two pairs...

Whats the chances of that?
Am i doing something wrong?
Is it just luck?
Or the site its been controled?
What do u think help me please!

It appears you answered your own question. You always bet aggressively when you have an excellent hand. After about three rounds, anybody looking for a tell, has picked it up.

Vary your play.

Personally, I'd say go into a live poker room and play for awhile and see what happens. You'll have the benefit of someone giving you their opinion. Just remember it is their opinion but if it is a good opinion, guaranteed someone else will chime in.

You'll learn a lot that way.

In addition to what was already said, players that play like you tend to be more predictable. Veteran players know that new players will play just like you described. We take advantage of this, if you come out betting in most cases, I know at least I do this, we call with just about any two cards. We hit a big hand and we know we are going to take you for a lot of money, we miss, we muck it and only lose a few dollars. This is part of what you get for playing limit and like was already said, learn to vary your play, if needed show down a bluff or two, or if you make a solid hand with not so great cards, think about showing it down once, just so people can note that you do play a variety of hands. Just something to think about.

well, if your playing in a trustyworth website no problem bue then, as stated you cant jsut go agressivly when you have a good hand, so that people will know the way you play and use it against you.
try to bluff sometimes and dont go to agressive on good hands, well if its the perfect hand maybe but. try different gameplays!

. if you see you`ve got no lucky on the website, maybe try to switch to another one. maybe the famous ones.

I love how you describe yourself as a "veteran" then say you call with any two cards when you know they have a big hand. In limit hold 'em I severely doubt you're getting the correct implied odds to do this.

While I agree with what has been said already, that you definitely need to vary your play more, you will still find people that no matter what are going to play any two cards they get, especially in limit. There are always going to be people that are just going to try to suck out on every hand, so there isn't much you can do about that.

Getting beat by hands like that are okay. In the long run you are going to come out ahead. The bigger problem you face giving away your hands is giving away your strength. Also pay attention to your position and the number of bettors in the pot.

It's part of what you get for playing to the limit and others has been already said, learn to vary your game if it is necessary to show a bluff or two, or if you make a solid agreement with the small maps Think show again, just so people can see you play a wide range of hands. Just something to think about.
