It seems that Ray Zee and Dave Fromm's book won't see the light of day (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=books&Number=11734112&page=2&fpart=all). Thankfully, Stoxtrader's book on Shorthanded Limit Hold'em is full of great information. Dave Fromm's DVD is also quite good. I was really looking forward to the new book, but its cancelation isn't exactly a disaster.

In other news, D&B Publishing's shorthanded book, Limit Hold'em: Winning Short-Handed Strategies (http://www.dandbpoker.com/book_detail.php?id=30), will be out next month. The authors are Terry Borer, Lawrence Mak, and Barry Tanenbaum. Tanenbaum writes a very good column for CardPlayer magazine and is supposedly one of today's most successful medium-to-high stakes Hold'em players. You can read an extract from this book by following the above link.

Finally, Byron Jacobs is releasing a sequel to his excellent quiz book, How Good is Your Limit Hold'em? His new book, due out in November, deals exclusively with hands from shorthanded games.

I'm extremely excited about these books. After all, 2+2 isn't the only good source for poker information.

Good luck,
Matt
