0.50/1, I open a standard raise UTG. I have brief history with SB. He is very loose aggressive preflop and on the flop (not so much on T/R), and gambles a lot. For example, calling AKo AIPF for 120BB stacks… Calling with A-high against a 2-flush flop (his read being that the other person was on a draw)… Overall a loose calling station with lots of preflop/flop aggression.

Seat 1: --- ($66.95)
Seat 2: SB ($95.90)
Seat 3: BB ($125.05)
Seat 4: HERO ($151.35)
Seat 5: --- ($138.50)
Seat 6: --- ($62.70)
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to HERO [ diamondK spadeK ]
HERO (UTG) raises to $3.50
3 folds
SB calls $3
BB calls $2.50
*** FLOP *** [ spade4 club2 heart7 ]
SB bets $7
BB raises to $18
tiltbad …

My thinking pre-flop:
SB is going to call with any two and fire at low cards, as is standard for him.
BB is pretty tight, he is new to the table but doesn’t seem reckless or out of hand.

On the flop:
SB fired at low cards. He most likely has a pair, maybe a straight draw.
BB most min-raises. I immediately think set. His range could also be 88-JJ. He could also have the straight draw.

Fold based on BB’s actions? If BB called or folded, I would be jamming the pot against the terrible SB.

Are things different if, instead of 2c, the flop had a 2s? (making a flush draw possible)

There is no reason for BB to raise that much with a set. I would put him on 88 -TT (JJ, he would have re-raised preflop).

I would go all in, or raise a considerable amount here.

I'd make it about 50-60 to go. If SB is loose aggro BB knows this as well you raised from LP so you could have a wide range. BB could be hitting it with 88+ or even 66 or A7.

You can call and c/r the turn, call and lead the turn or just 3bet the flop.

In this spot I probably just pop it up to $45 since you think he's calling too much and he's not that aggro on the turn. If he was more aggressive on the turn I'd definitely call to c/r, though calling to lead the turn small is also a nice line.
