*Villian is tight, in 200 hands I have not seen him reraise PF (i make notes when this happens)
*Villain is fairly passive, AF = 1.5
comments please
Why not all in perflop after his raise? you were so worried bout AA?

I should have 3-bet pre-flop. Fold to a re-raise. This guy is only going to four-bet with AA. No matter what. I made a mistake here. I am not pushing with KK vs this villain, it would be extremly stupid and if I am called it's going to be AA.
That said, as played pre-flop, his range is around JJ+, AK. Maybe JJ+, no AK
I think he is making this flop bet with all of those hands (maybe not AK, i dont even think AK is really in his pf range)
My maximum equity here is 52% (QQ+, AK) I might have pot odds (if my range is correct), but I have a feeling my equity is closer to 15% (KK+) I can't figure out a range where my equity is over 52%... (i'm using pokerstove for all these calculations)
I don't know if all this makes perfect sense, but this was my take on it. I just thought I was going to be very far behind here most of the time. The only hand he could have that I beat is QQ and he still has draws. I did not think my hand was good at all.. Maybe he got lucky with JJ but I think he has KK, AA here everytime
Is this analysis ok? A hand like this only comes once in a thousand hands, so I dont feel as if it's a leak or saving me a lot of money. I thought stacking off here would be very stupid.
Had I pushed and he called with AA i think you would be telling me it was avoidable (esp preflop -i disagree with many pro's when they say that KK gets the money in everytime preflop. If your opponent only reraises PF with KK+, then it's stupid to play against him with KK)

I've thought about this hand a lot...
1) given villain's range preflop do you still like trying to get it all in? would you call a 4-bet AI?
2) do you try to get it in on the flop?
This seems like the type of hand where I look like a genious/idiot if you could see villain's hand. I definetly messed up the hand pre-flop and it make it hard for me to play, especially OOP.
3) If 2 is no: if this flop was 39T, would you try getting it in?
Just because he didnt raise in 200 hands doesnt mean he has AA there.
As you said it yourself, he is a passive player.
I would have gone all in preflop personaly, but i would have still called all in (gone all in) on the flop. He wouldnt go all in with set of Jacks.
I would only be worried bout AA which again, he would re-raise to $16 preflop with AA (that would kill the action and no money for him).
Cheers,
Nima

not sure what i was thinking, i should aim to get AI with KK preflop. I dont think I have a good enough read on him to fold here
Flop is ok, in my opinion. Bad situation since I slaughtered it PF
after the hand, villain said "i think you dodged a huge bullet there" after i let my clock run out... who knows
