The big blind may interpret your bet as a bluff--a reasonable assumption since the flop doesn't compliment many hands that you might have open-raised with--e.g., Q:spades:J:clubs:. He may be tired of being pushed around and could be check-raising with as little as ace- or king-high. He may also have a draw.

Continue your aggressive play. You will eventually get paid off when you hold a very strong hand. Given your table image, your opponents will not give you much respect.
