You raise from early position with K:hearts:K:spades:. Only two middle-position players call. Both players are loose-aggressive before the flop, but they turn into calling stations after the community cards come out. The flop is 6:diamonds: 8:hearts: 5:diamonds:. You bet and both opponents call. The turn is the 3:diamonds:, making a flush possible. You bet again and both opponents call. The river is the 2:clubs:. What's your move?

Bet. Your opponents will call you down with a lot of mediocre hands and only raise with strong holdings. If one of them has a flush or a straight, you would have heard about it on the turn. It's also unlikely that the the 2:clubs: helped either of them. Against tight and/or tricky opponents, you would check and call unless a raising war breaks out. Against loose opponents, you should bet for value. See Ed Miller's Small Stakes Hold'em for more on this topic.

In the actual hand, the first player folded and the second player called with 9:hearts:9:clubs:.
