This is from the book "Holdem on The Come" page 41:

"If you have a good open-ended straight draw, but the flop contains two-suited, a good rule of thumb is to subtract one out if there are at least three other players in the hand."

I would personaly say if there are two other players in the hand.

Here's another way to think about it: If you only have six clean outs, you need bigger pot odds to draw. That's especially true for limit hold'em, which is the primary focus of Hold'em on the Come. In NL, implied odds are obviously more important than pot odds. Implied odds do play a role in limit hold'em, but to a lesser extent. I think 5-1 pot odds is good enough, even with a two-suited board. You just have to be willing to dump your straight if it's obvious that someone has made a flush. I could be wrong. I still need to read that book.
