Alvin Thomas was the greatest proposition gambler of all time. Titanic was able to break par right or left handed, was a master mechanic with a deck of cards, and would practice hustles for weeks or months to master some wacky skill. Here are a few of Ti's wilder schemes:
While playing a left-handed golfer Ti was losing badly, and getting visibly frustrated about it; In the middle of another insult laced tirade he challenges his opponent with a new proposition, "I'll play you the last five holes with your clubs for 10 times the original bet!" Remember Ti was as good left-handed as right, but his opponent had no way of knowing that! He figured Ti was just steaming.
