If you can remember, what was your worst bad beat playing either online or live NL Hold 'em? Or you can put the most recent you remember.

Since I don't think I can remember my worst, but the most recent that comes to mind was...

I had an A high flush... and the dude hit a straight flush. It's not that crazy, but you just don't see straight flushes all too often.

As I mentioned in a previous post I lost with a poker of 4s vs. a poker of 5s. I went all in with a poker of 4 and the opponent called. River card was 5 and he made a poker of 5s, unbelievable.

Wow... yeah... that's crazy. Do you get upset when that happens or do you stay relatively calm. My anger gets the best of me, and sometimes I get really upset and it can effect my play... but that's usually only online. For the most part I can keep composure live.

In that case I was upset very much. Naturally I am a calm person, but that hand crossed the line. :) I try to be calm; if I am nervous I play badly. If I can’t calm down, I just leave the table.

Ususally just a higher pair of a flush or high card in a 3 of a kind and such when going all in. The ones that hurt the most are the straights that are higher or a full house would be most in money in my opinion. I have been through all of them and lost temper.

Yeah me too. I mean its hard to pinpoint which one really seemed the worst because at the time they all were pretty terrible. I guess it also depends on the other person... if they shouldn't have been calling or if they were making good calls and just outdrew me.

My worst bad beats are when I am absolutely convinced I've won and I haven't seen something really obvious staring me in the face. Like having a full house jacks full of aces and they turn out to have aces full of twos or something.
