I wanted to start this topic to get opinions from the other people who might play online on here. I have seen countless hands online (too many to count,) where it seems both players or all 3-5 people in the hand hit something on the flop. On person has trips, the other has a boat, and someone else has a flush. I mean, it happened so many times one day it was just completely ridiculous. I know that this is possible in real life and that is obvious. I just ask this because, from personal expierience I have seen it happen all too often. The people I play with live at the home game also believe this. I also have a buddy from work that think something is up as well. I have seen so many times where people will get all in or deep into a pot pre flop where they raised and some moron online calls them down with ace little and it hits. It seems like aces are almost golden online.

Your thoughts?

I definitly agree about online poker. Its full of action and bad beads in my opinion. I see a lot of people with in on the game and hit on the cards on the turn or the river. I say bad beats because I usually see, lets say someone with pocket aces or even pocket kings call all in, and then all of a sudden too lose to a guy that pulls it off on the river card. I totally agree with you! thats why I prefer playing in person more rather than online.

NO! the rake is capped at a certain point in the pot, so what would be the use of exceeding the cap 3 fold??? The max rake is usually $3 online, so why create action flops that create $300 pots when it's capped at $60?

I wasnt really talking about cash games, sorry. I should of made that more clear. I believe they are in Sit and go's, and tournies, because once your out, your paying that next tourny fee. Thats what I meant and I should of been more clear. I still and will always believe that online poker is rigged for action!

I also talk to alot of live players, and we will get to the discussion of online play. I ask them how they did. Almost every single person tells me they made a gold mine on online play. So I think to myself, whey the hell don't you play anymore, and I ask them that! They tell me, "oh, I am and was getting sick of the bad beats." Tell me if that isnt bs.

rigging it for tournies makes no sense whatsoever.

And the reason you see more bad beats online is because on average you are playing 10-15x as many hands /hr as live so you should see 10-15x as many bad beats.

Easy way to prove it, get a sample of millions and millions of hands and analyse how the equities compare to the actual results. Simple stats test.
