NL holdem. Blinds 5/10, 2k chip stacks. You are always big blind. Your opponent shoves preflop every hand. With what range of hands do you call with X number of chips left in your stack?

i would call with any Ace, KT and higher, and TJ or better as well as any pairs if it is a cash game.
If its tournament I would call with the better hands.

I agree with Nima. Hold your ground and wait for an all-in hand. With 5/10 blinds you're bound to get a few hands worthy to go all-in with.

Can you not profitably call blind? If you've already put in the bb you need like 49.75% equity and a random hand is 50/50 with another random hand.

This is WAYYYY to broad for me to answer it properly. I mean, it depends on that player, what he has pushed all in with before in the past, as well as other aspects. Like why is he pushing all his chips into a (if no one has called) 15 chip pot. That most likely means he is scared to play, ie, small pocket pair, most of the time. Also, if he/she is continuosly pushing on your big blind, its probably going to be a good idea to fold, because you want to avoid all in situations if you can, even if you have the best of it. This person obviously has the money to blow, or just doesnt care whatsoever. I would probably fold every single time unless I had like obviously aces or kings or something like that. Actually, I would probably call with almost any pair I had, 5's or higher. I would fold any ace. Most likely your dominated, or your going to have to hit your Ace or king or queen or whatever is paired with it. Presumably, this guy is a complete donk.

That's the key right there, you are playing with 200BB stacks. I would wait for a strong heads up hand 77+ AT+ KTs+ KQ type
