In Omaha you are dealt four cards and you need to use 2 of your best hands and 3 of the community cards while in Texas Hold em you can use all five of the community cards. I know that Texas Hold Em is more popular but I enjoy playing Omaha more. Which do you prefer?

I prefer to play Omaha but I'm better at Hold 'em.

Omaha is a lot harder in my opinion and you definitely need to be better at working out draws and redraws and playing for the nuts.

The main mistake HE players make at Omaha is thinking of their cards as six hold 'em hands rather than one Omaha hand, e.g. - AQ77 isn't a good Omaha hand when AQ and 77 are good HE hands. In Omaha you'd far rather a hand like JT98 double suited, that can flop you a draw with 23 outs!

I have tried to play Omaha and for awhile its okay but I get bored with it after a bit. I will always prefer Razz or Texas Holdem.

I have always played NLHE but Omaha is a very fashionable one to be learning nowadays as the holdem games get tougher. There is alot of money to be made at PLO.

I want to learn PLO desperately but I find myself moving back to NLHE mainly because I play higher stakes there and I'm greedy for the $$
