I enjoy playing Omaha and seem to do pretty well at it but have never read any books or even articles. I play ultra aggressive when I have a good hand and it just seems work work. Would people say there is more luck than judgement for the winning?

That would be good, I just need to see if it's worth pursuing PL omaha HL or am I just cruising for a massive downswing.

Starting hands only exist before the flop; it's stupid to play passively in Omaha 8. I play about 20-25% of my hands and raise about 9% of the time (pokertracker stats).

It all depends on the limits, how many people are at the table, what's happened before me. I agree that its definitely an agressive game. I would guess that 90% of the time after the flop, people that are calling your bets have at least 2 pair, flush draw, or straight draw. So when it comes down to it... Omaha is a little bit of both luck and judgement. I personally like playing the game.
